"Join the Center for Responsible Forestry and the Legacy Forest Defense Coalition as we hike to a beautiful legacy forest threatened by logging. The Tuckered Out timber sale in the Marckworth State Forest was one of the 23 sales temporarily protected by Dave Upthegrove’s “Time Out For Trees.” With the end of this six month moratorium and the release of a preliminary and deeply flawed conservation map which currently excludes all timber sales planned for the next five years, this forest may once again be on the chopping block if we don’t advocate for its survival. Tuckered Out is one of our highest priority timber sales statewide, and we want to share with you our strategy for how to protect it and ways you can help us make this happen!
