About the event
Unit 3 of the Chai Timber Sale would clear cut a 145 year-old forest in the Mox Chehalis creek watershed on the norther side of Capital State Forest. This is one of Thurston County's oldest remaining legacy forest and, it is a forest that Thurston county has requested DNR protect.
We will be hiking several miles on trails to visit this incredible forest
