About the event
On the eastern slopes of Blanchard Mountain in Skagit County, the WA Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is planning a series of clearcuts that would obliterate over 150 acres of native forest habitat. The three "fly" timber sales—Mayfly, Damselfly, and Stonefly—pose threats to local wildlife, watershed health, and popular trails in Blanchard State Forest. Join LFDC and our friends from Forest Talks & Forest Walks to learn what the buzz is all about!
