Join LFDC in Pacific County for a group walk in the Willapa Hills Legacy Forest! We will explore the recently canceled "Seven and Seven" timber sale, as well as the nearby "Intent" sale which is currently being logged. DIFFICULTY: MODERATE Approx. 1.5 miles total *off trail* and on a logging road

About the event
On Sunday, November 23rd, join LFDC for a group walk in the Willapa Hills Legacy Forest! Together we will explore and celebrate the forest spared in DNR's recently canceled "Seven and Seven" timber sale. We will also visit a part of the forest that DNR auctioned in the "Intent" timber sale, which is currently being logged.
When: Sunday, November 23rd, 2025 from 11am–4pm
Where: We'll meet at 11am at the northeast corner of State Route 6 and Green Creek Road just 8 miles south of Raymond (46.592385, -123.618471). From there we will caravan to the forest. What: Approximately 1.5 miles of walking total on a gravel logging road as well as optional off-trail hiking in the woods.* Please bring water, snacks, shoes to hike in and the appropriate layers in case of rain.
